S.L. Dove Cooper (she/they) is a queer author and editor. Her works include A Promise Broken, Heart of the Covenant, Among the Glimmering Flowers, and Snow as Soft as Feathers and Other Stories. She spends much of her time exploring asexuality and aromanticism in literature, both in her fiction and nonfiction. Her nonfiction has been published by The Book Smugglers and Luna Press Publishing. Multiple of her books have been published by The Kraken Collective. She currently resides in Europe and her idiom and spelling are, despite her best efforts, geographically confused, poor things. She stubbornly insists that the field is ‘asexuality and aromanticism studies’ or ‘aspec studies’. Her current studies focus strongly on asexuality and aromanticism in early and contemporary speculative fiction. Her first publication, Asexual Representation in Mainstream Speculative Fiction, was published at The Book Smugglers in 2019.
